Anna Grace Deason
Anna Grace Deason, 19, is from Millbrook, AL, and studying Biomedical Sciences at UAB.
Her community service initiative is “Anna’s Hope” which advocates for awareness of premature birth, birth defects, and maternal health inequity in partnership with NICUs across the state and the March of Dimes.
Miss Leeds Area in Review
The Miss Leeds Area Pageant began in 1980 with a local girl, Paige Phillips, winning the crown and continuing on to win Miss Alabama and First Runner-Up to Miss America. Over thirty years later, we are still celebrating winners which include Miss Leeds Area 1993-Kalyn Chapman, Miss Leeds Area 2004-Deidra Downs who was also crowned Miss America, Miss Leeds Area 2011-Courtney Porter, Miss Leeds Area 2013-Chandler Champion, Miss Leeds Area 2014-Caitlin Brunell and Miss Leeds Area 2017-Jessica Proctor.
