Miss Leeds Area 2023 Competition Info
Welcome to the Miss Leeds Area and Miss Leeds Area Outstanding Teen 2023 Competition!
DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES will be the theme of this year’s competition on Saturday, July 30th at Leeds High School.
The competition will be limited to 25 candidates for Miss and Teen combined. Complete candidate paperwork will be accepted prior to the deadline of July 22, 2022. Do not delay in getting your paperwork submitted.
Miss and Teen candidates will open the show in black cocktail dresses. Teen candidates, you will need black shorts and a solid color t-shirt for physical fitness. The Teen and Miss Pageants will run at the same time. Both winners will be crowned at the end of the pageant.
The competition committee is looking forward to meeting each one of you as we begin our quest to crown the new Miss Leeds Area and Outstanding Teen. A complete schedule will be provided closer to the competition date.
In addition to qualifying as a candidate in the Miss Alabama & MAOT 2023 competitions, the winners will join a long line of other successful Miss Leeds Area winners in service to the Leeds community. The winner will receive cash scholarships, in-kind scholarships, and prizes.
The Miss Leeds Area Organization will not host the Rising Star program this year. If you are the winner, you are free to choose your own rising star, but they will be responsible for paying their state fee.

Directions to Leeds High School
From Birmingham, take I-20 toward Atlanta, take the 140 exit, when coming off ramp bear to the right, come to the 2nd red light after you exit, turn left and come up hill, turn to the right when you arrive at school and come toward the double doors with covered walk on back side of school. (You will see the cafeteria when coming up walkway.) When entering the double doors, turn to the right and go straight into the band room.
